“I’d like people to see a little piece of my heart in every thing that I do, and that is what I’ll try to do with this project”
Delfi loves greyhounds and the stories that she has read since she was a little girl. That’s why she decided to study to become a writer. But long before that, Delfi was a little reader – as she likes to call herself (and all of the other kids around the world that like to read) – and that’s why, today, she’d like to share The Equestrian Greyhound with all of you!
Her favorite hobby is to look for little sparkles of creativity around her world. She cries when movies end. She loves watching how different people’s smiles are when they take their pictures. To watch her mom’s hands while she cooks, because they look just like her grandmother’s. Some violin melodies, especially when it’s a little bit out of tune. When somebody grabs her hand. She will always like to take care of anyone that needs her, and read those books that have that I-don’t-know-what. Her dogs’ tummy smell, and butterflies (which scare her a bit).
She thought about creating this magazine when she remembered about her dad: every morning, a magazine arrived at her house and so did her dad’s newspaper. And they would both have breakfast together, reading. That’s how simple memories are, and exactly there is where she finds those little sparkles of creativity.
